Hey... I didn't mean to come off as totally bashing your story Lantern Lad. As you noticed I'm pretty honest with my critiques and hope people will do the same for me when I start writing.
Of course I wanted to know where the LEGION virus came from and what happened to Abin Sur, but I already get the gist of it from what's been mentioned. Sure there's room for it to be explained further, but it's a matter of pacing. You had a great build to this point, but everything you revealed here could have been explained through dialogue without 2 whole issues of flashback.

Legends of the Green Lantern Corps #8 is up! Continuing the bi-weekly adventures of The Green Lantern Corps in "Last Stand on Graxos IV": The Guardians send their best agent, Abin Sur, to Graxos IV on a mission to rescue GL Fentara. But, is it too late? Events in this flashback issue lead directly into LotGLC #1! Written by & art by Scott D. L. Kruger

This is it! What the entire saga's been building up to! "The Source": The end is near as Hal Jordan and the Corps Elite enter the Anti-Matter Universe of Qward to exterminate the Legion Virus! UNfortunately, things don't quite go as planned... what's a rookie GL to do? It's Hal vs. Guy Gardner & Kilowog???

Let me know what you thought of the Legion Virus Saga!

Definitely a fun read. Proof of Hal's courage but could the trip through the anti-matter battery have allowed a certain yellow bug to attach itself to Hal? And do I detect hints of the Anti-Monitor. Only time will tell... hahaha... But like I said before I wish you'd done this story earlier and just gave away the previous info in flashback or dialogue rather than taking two issues to tell the story. Nonetheless... this issue was great.

#10 has just been posted...
Hal goes on his second date with Carol Ferris. A perfect time for Dr. Poloris to make his debut.

I just hope I can do Poloris as good when I use him in LoS #11-12 & LotB #11 (my upcoming World's Finest crossover)

Legends of the Green Lantern Corps #11
Jar Kell is the Green Lantern of Sector 3598. A dark and desolate sector indeed. When a Bolovaxian pirate cruiser comes into his sector, the Green Lantern finds himself trapped in a body not his own. Also, what is Agamemno?!

I think everything is pretty good for what it is...a Hal Jordan/space/origin book, with an exception to origin. As a Kyle fan I am disappointed that he will not be a regular GL, but I have gotten over that. What I can’t get over is how narrow-minded this book feels to me. Having everyone’s origin in the military is not something I want to see. The biggest seller of DC’s GL’s is how diverse they are. Hal is a Pilot so you see that shine through in his powers. John is an Architect and you see that when he uses his power. Similarly, Guy is headstrong and irrational and that is shown when he uses his power. I don’t know Guy’s background, but the military is a fitting place of origin for him. As for the rest, including Alan, I don’t agree with military backgrounds.
