Loved this issue! Each one seems to be getting better than the last. The words that come to mind here for this one are kinetic and rollicking. It was a rollicking adventure, in true superheroic fashion (with a nasty villain and a leave-'em-wanting-more ending). I love the fact that Trigon is going to be a GL villain (as the TTs don't yet exist in the LDCU, right?), and can't wait until the story goes there. This title is dependably the most fun to read--- Hal is such an endearing character and an Everyman, and the bits of humor are appreciated, too. But where has Guy been? I want to see round 2! And more General Scott, please! And when do we meet Jennie-Lynn? So, is it a coincidence that the little boy's name was Kyle, or is it young Mr. Rayner?

well, david...i'm not sure if i should address your questions...i want to...but then the spoilers that i'd be giving..... hmmm....well....i can say round 2 with gardner will be coming shortly....as well as jenni showing up (i think it's next issue?) oh...and that certainly was a young mr. rayner....and you will see a tiny bit more of him...he'll be the star of an Unlimited Legendsone-shot....but not as a super hero....so yeah, no teen lantern...but thatr one shot will connect to this LoGLC issue and be written by me

That was just a little tease so everyone knows he is out there & wanting to be unleashed. Guy will be seen (in a BIG way) in issue #9. General Scott will be making small appearances here and there, be looking for HUGE revelations about him in the double-sized issue 12! And Dan is right, Jenni will be in issue 6... but she'll be back in a most unexpected way!

Just don't make her Star Sapphire and we'll be cool...
Anyways I liked this issue. tatooed man himself was a little weak, he may as well have been Effigy or something because his ability was basically to make constructs, but it was still an excellent read. Lots of action and I was never lost for a second. Can't wait to meet the Corps...
