Actually, his ability was much different than the original Tattooed Man... his ability WAS to make constructs. This tattooed Man actually brought his tattoos to life. Thanks for the compliment.
And no, Jenni will not be Star Sapphire... she won't be anything for a while after the next issue. But she will be back & in a big way.

Really really good.I really liked the cover.seing all those other corps members was amazing. I like how the story is going and everything your doing with alen.I'm not sure if i like whats happening with the jenni character but I'll wait before I deliver any kind of judgement.

I feel the same way about Jenni but I'm reserving judgement too. ] Alan has me the most captivated because 1) I love him in the regular DCU and 2) You've thrown in enough teases to make me want to beat you with a bat... the suspense is great. Admittedly I'm not that big of a Jordan fan, him and Guy are my least favorite earth Lanterns, but you're doin good work here. Hal's actually a little interesting in your hands. I'm still not feeling the "every Earth Lantern's in the air force" thing, I think that that was one of the things that Johns got right in Rebirth, how they all wielded their rings differently because of their backgrounds. It's not that big a deal though. Keep up the good work. Oh, and next time don't put the fact that a dead character will be returning in the next issue at the bottom. That's a huge spoiler!

actually, dummy...that's not a spoil as in he'll be alive. i hope i'm not giving anything away that Scott doesn't want to give away...but it's a flashback kinda deal...so it was just before he died...not that he'll return...

I had some reservations about this story. The whole LEGION virus making the GLs go yellow and rogue was interesting, but something about it being a plot from the Anti-matter Universe's Weaponers of Qward just doesn't sit well. Also now that I'm looking back... you freaking killed off Sinestro! haha... I don't know why it didn't sink in until now. Maybe it was the whole Guy Gardner likely becoming Sinestro's equivalent... but I just love Sinestro.

You will see Sinestro again soon... in one way or another.
Besides... in the comic worls.... what really is dead?

I'll be honest... I haven't finished reading yet because it definitely feels like things have slowed down. It feels like this is working against the story. You've got this great build-up from the origin story to a sort of filler story (Tattooed Man) that shows some great action to Hal getting to Oa and getting ready to be sent into enemy territory... but then you stop it to tell this story that requires so much back story. It's a great story to tell, but it really seems to just slow everything down especially the beginning where you explain the split of the universes and the LEGION virus' origin.
Oh and about Sinestro's death and death in comics... I don't mind bringing characters back but you gotta have a REALLY good reason, and after a gunshot to the head it's hard to find a reason. (Maybe his alien physiology doesn't have vital organs in his head but that's so... I don't know... just doesn't feel like it makes sense.)

OK... let me rephrase, this time with less frustration & irritability.
Whenever I read a story, I wish to know the WHOLE story eventually. Maybe not upfront, maybe upfront... however the writer tends to do it, as long as they get to it. Personally, I thought this was the way to tackle the story so as not to hold up the first appearance of Hal in the Legends universe. Weren't you the least bit curious as to where the Legion virus came from, or how it infected Sinestro or how Abin Sur wound up on Earth? If not, then you may want to skip the next issue too.
Maybe in hindsight, now knowing how huge the drop-off of readership on this site would be, I may have opted to try something a little different, but it's a little too late for that now. Something I will rectify elsewhere.
Now the regarding Sinestro coming back to life... were you referring to the comment I made about comic book death? That comment is as stands, this is a comic universe & you never know what may happen. And it may not happen... if it were, it would make sense & Sinestro would not be who you think he is. I will leave it at that.
As for filler issues... call it what you will, the Tattooed Man story was there to show how quickly Hal can think on his feet with very little training. Also to develop more of Kilowog's personality. IMO, very important to the establishment of the Corps & the core characters in this LDCU. Plus I wanted to re-invent a villain that had nothing to do with the Legion virus arc.
