that, my friend, was an incredible story things i loves: making fun of the name 'ocean master' the suprises and thrills throughout the story (ex: the death) the fact that atlantea herself was narrating the kick-ass picture at the end
as for the things i didn't like....wait for it....there has to be something...hmmm
nope, nothing, best story written in legends so far, period

Great story, Scott! I've read through the whole thing now and really enjoyed it. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the ending (aka the surprise death). It works great for the story being self-contained, but drastically cuts short a lot of possible stories in the future.
Overall, awesome work!

I've loved this story. I really have no complaints. This really is how Aquaman ought to be written... as something a lot more separate from the rest of the DCU. His domain spans 75% of the globe so that means he should be spending less time on land than the amount the normal DCU usually has had him.

If you're referring to him using the dolphins to subdue Orm... then I'd say no. Orm had already nulled the terms of battle by taking Mera hostage during a one-on-one fight.

It was a good story. Didn't stand out following the amazing origin story that was told but I'm willing to wait and see what's going to happen with Arthur possibly returning to the surface world soon.

I loved the reasoning to keeping the beard, and the explanation/addition of the calf-fins. I also love how you are making Poseidonis and Atlantis so real, making them a real place with geography and culture and attitude. Great stuff Scott!

The story moved kinda slow for me,but that is expected with this being the first issue of this new arc. Still,I really like how its going

Legends of Aquaman #6 is now up! Arthur has a big choice to make... Accept his true name & obtain powers that could possibly stop the plague that's ravaging Atlantis, or not and risk total annihilation. Seems like an easy choice, but it is prophesized that these powers will come at a steep price. Plus, who is the mysterious boy that seems immune to the plague? And if that were not enough, the issue also introduces the Legends Sea Devils! Written by (and cover by): Scott D.L. Kruger
