thanks for the kind words, dummy i too am something of a youngseter (seventeen) but i was first introduced to comics by reading old back issues from the 70s and the 80s that had been my uncle's (his favorites included daredevil and thor) my first comics ever was actually an issue of marvel team-up where ms marvel and spidey fight super skrull! it was awesome
well, sorry for the rant, but anyway the subplots will continue to develop (i actually have the series plotted to #25 so far) and i agree with what you say about now a days people not staying on books long enough...i mean, c'mon everyone just seems to do 'stints' which, while can be good, kinda gets annoying that's why i respect geoff johns a lot, for staying on the flash from #164-225- 60 issues! nothing compared to claremount doing the x-men, or stan lee not haveing a single guest writer on spider-man until issue 101, but now a days, it sure is something to see a writer stay on for so long

Nik…
Great issue! I thoroughly enjoyed it! You seem to have a real good grasp on old Barry. I’m looking forward to the inevitable Flash vs. Zoom issue…
I liked the reference to Carmine Infantino… very cool.
I was surprised though that Barry didn’t even attempt to throw Kenyon off the scent as far as his secret identity goes. Perhaps he felt that Kenyon was far too clever to even attempt to mislead him.
Captain Boomerang was cool… I would like to see more of him in these pages soon. I do look forward to the reprecussion of the attack during Senator Creed’s speech… more kindling for the flame.
One issue I had with it though… the action was a little too hard to follow at times. We read that Barry drew the fumes away… we read that Barry drew the flames away… How? I would have liked to see how he did these things. Especially since he’s still just learning his abilities. Maybe he would stumble a few times along the way… making things worse by using his powers instead of immediately resolving the problem. It humanizes those with God-like abilities… then again, so does having your hands shreded by razor-sharp boomerangs…
That’s my only problem though! Keep up the fantastic work Nik!

Legends of the Flash #8 has just been posted
There's a new speedster in town. A murdering psycho with a taste for revenge against our hero. The Flash gets framed for the killing of Kenyon, but that's not the worst of it...
